METRC is a seed-to-sale cannabis regulatory and compliance management system used by 19 states currently, and that number continues to grow. HOW METRC WORKS

METRC's RFID-enabled tags assign UIDs to all plants and packages

Every plant and package tracked by METRC will have an RFID-enabled tag attached that contains a Unique Identifier (UID) for that plant or package.

When plants are harvested then packaged or combined with other plants in the production of oils, edibles, or concentrates, the origin, testing results, handling, and chain-of-custody information is visible and traceable by regulators.

This traceability ensures the safety of consumers and allows regulators to understand and monitor the health of the cannabis industry.
